After months of investigation, police in Cleve, Germany, have managed to arrest 3 Dutch citizens accused of establishing cannabis plantations throughout the German region.
It is learned that the three arrested citizens are between the ages of 28 and 51, while reportedly they had disguised illegal activity with an agricultural equipment store.
According to German media, they also sold equipment to grow cannabis, coming to the aid of other narcotic plant growers.
Among those arrested are two young Albanians.
Since May 2023, 18 cannabis plantations have been discovered throughout Germany during investigations at the client base of the so-called Klever “Growshop”.
According to the official report, it is estimated that over one tonne of cannabis, worth about 10m euros, was produced. German public prosecutor's offices responsible for these plantations have already arrested more than 41 suspects in recent weeks.
According to the announcement, Macedonia's three operators “Growshop” are Dutch from Rotterdam. Two were arrested on Thursday morning when they wanted to open the store in Clive. At the same time, the shelters of the accused were searched. As a result, the third person was arrested. /oranews
