Hundreds of new concrete pillars, along with the new conveyors, already wind up from Rahoveci, along the vineyards of this municipality, toward the rugged mountain villages.
Everything is being accomplished under KED's investment plan. It's about Pataqan's emissary, which extends across villages the Upper and Lower Pataqa, Nashpal, Vranjak, Drenoc and Zatriq.
In a length of 25 miles [25 km], besides concrete poles and electrical conveyors, 21 trafostations have been established, as well as other needed stabilizers.
This exit has been in serious condition, for which residents of that area have faced difficulties in supply and, because of the location of a section of the mountain area, has often made it difficult for KED teams to maintain.
However, with the completion of this major project, which is expected to take place in January of next year, over 14,000 residents on that side will have a new total electricity network, meaning security and sustainable electricity supply.
Pataqan's project is just one of 250 major projects, which KED is implementing throughout Kosovo.
Investments in the electrical network, as a fundamental KED priority, are continuing to be implemented throughout Kosovo in order to have a stable and secure electricity network.
