The great American newspaper, yashington Post, came out with a special editorial following the assassination of the opposition presidential candidate in Ecuador, Fernando Villavicencio.
The newspaper reports that killing this candidate threatens democracy in Ecuador.
Long ago, major international media, mainly American, write that Ecuador, once an oaz of prosperity and security in South America, has become a narco-state thanks to the influence of the Albanian mafia.
For this reason, the large American newspaper calls on the Joe Biden administration to investigate the Albanian mafia that is jeopardising to destabilise Ecuador.
“Beden administration should consider helping Ecuador-again, assuming political compliance -- regain control of the prisons of this country, which were taken from gangs and turned into de facto command centres.
The United States, along with their partners in Europe, must also increase intelligence collection for Albanian-original groups, which compete more and more with Mexican cartels for controlling cocaine exports from Ecuador - much of it destined for Europe.
Organised crime threatens Latin America's democracies, from Rio Grande to Tierra del Fuego: if they want to avoid the temptation to respond with authoritarian methods, the United States should help these countries show they can function legally,” highlights the editorial of the newspaper board.
Several major media in the US have reported several times that the administration of Joe Biden is turning a blind eye to the situation in Ecuador and to Edi Rama's narco-state in Albania, which has facilitated transnational crime.
