Former National Union Party leader Kreshnik Spahiu has commented on Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's visit to northern Macedonia.
Spahiu in Euronews Albania has said Kurti is seeking power in Skopje since he, according to him, failed to take it to Albania.
“He has been trying to overthrow the Tirana government, trying to overthrow the Skopje government. Albin Kurti entered the elections in Tirana, he came out with 300 votes in the 2021 elections, so he openly sought power in Albania, seeing he failed and had no vote support in Albania, trying to create a political conflict by making an alliance with opposition in northern Macedonia.”
“The alliance he may have with Sali Berisha or with the opposition factor in Macedonia is not prohibited by law, but would be welcome if they had an alliance with all parties. A so-called patriotic party, such as Vetevendosje, must have at its core an all-Albanian alliance, Albanianism over party interests, make no distinction, socialist or Democrat, in government or opposition. He said, among other things.
We remember Kurti's visit to northern Macedonia has been commenting sharply enough to have prompted reactions by the top leaders of the state of Northern Macedonia.
