A good question from Muharrem: Am Rama shutting down public parking lots in favor of private ones?

European integration acquaintance Shenoll Muharremi has set up several suspected tracks about the park located in Kosovo's Library. The man on Facebook has brought some issues about using this auto parking park, asking a question about whether the Pristina Community is working for [...]
He in his Facebook post has brought some issues about the exploitation of this automotive parking park, asking whether the Pristina Business Community is working against citizens.
According to him, the Pristina municipality has said they have decided to close that part due to renovations, but this has not happened.
Shenolly has said that in what was supposed to be a park now the Pristina Community seems to have decided to use it as a parking lot for public vehicles, so citizens are forced to send cars to the private parking lot there.

Is the Pristina Business Committee working against Citizens?
Maybe, maybe not. It's the case of the Library Park. Today the Pristina municipality without any public discussion with the citizens I have read decided to close the library target. The reason was that you want to renew. Okay, basically, it's ok, but don't even fix that park, even if there's enough greenery in it.
I went to the park tonight and saw what it was like. I noticed that there were about 200 parked cars. The day is probably used for the needs of library and library schools and weekends for citizens for parking. Private parking lot is built there, 1 euro hour.
In this context, the first thing I thought about is (a) Can the park be repaired and renovated, but the cars of the citizens are allowed to park even after renovation? Why not, there's public property of citizens, not private property. Maybe it can, though it can't. That should be settled. (b) When I saw the private parking lot, I saw it most of the time it wasn't in full capacity.
So the question is, is it possible that the municipality is closing down the library target for public cars that citizens have to park to private? Maybe, maybe not. That should be settled.
The right thing is to ask citizens a little bit what's best for them. Also, it was nice to consult field professionals to ask them about this job, what they think best.
Okay, I as a citizen am right to raise my doubts and ask for more debate and public discussion on the big issues. Now someone else could tell me that even some of the streets were closed and reoriented to heal private interests. Maybe traffic chaos is getting worse because it's looking at more private interest than citizens.
This parking thing, I need it, has not been done well by the municipality. First of all, people have gone ahead of their homes and started getting their taxes. What did they need? I understand when it's necessary to regulate traffic functionality, but there are many cases when free parking lots have been installed.
My logic is that public policy should first serve citizens, then others. Let's not forget that maybe I'm the biggest expert here to support and help businesses grow and develop... and win more. But no, neither, against the citizens.
There are some subjects and jobs that are not in place, and we need public discussion before deciding them. He puts me on behalf of the citizen first and then on others. /Periscopi/.
