Miroslav Ivanovic, the brother of Oliver Ivanovic, has said that the apology from Germany for Serbian Police Minister Bratislav Gashiq's statement that the killers of former Civic Initiative Freedom “Serbia, Democracy, Justice” are under the protection of the German state, had to be made much earlier by President Aleksandar Vuciq.
“A statement, such as Gashiqi's, is not tolerated and forgotten in the diplomatic world. And some measures must be taken with evidence of a serious apology to get this country out of the scandal”, Miroslav Ivanovic said, for the Serbian newspaper Danas.
As he added, “is sure to at least mention Oliver's family in all of these, because they don't understand and have no idea what publishing such information means, even much softer, for the family and the mood of family”.
Aleksandar Ivanovic, the grandson of Olliver Ivanovic, said that “is a great shame that certainly cannot be solved by apologizing to Germany and remaining Minister Bratislav Gashic in the post of Police Minister”.
He has estimated that after this scandal, Gashi will have to resign or be dismissed with urgent procedure.
After that, it is up to the prosecutor to prove the reasons why Minister Gashiq, already clear to all, has deliberately deceived opinion when he recently waved Oliver Ivanovic's file in Serbia's Parliament and has said the case has been solved, known who the killer is, and where he is, under the protection of the German state”, Ivanovic stressed.
Dje Vucinqi has apologised to Germany for Gashiqi's claim, claiming Serbia had spoken with German service members and had received guarantees and evidence that they did not hide the data.
