Kosovo pays Serbian officials without work, that's all Government spends on them

Over 700 thousand euros have cost the state budget last year the salaries of about 150 Serbian officials, who have labour contracts with the country's institutions but who have been working. Audition reports have shown that these members of the so - called civil protection structure were paid in absence of evidence [...]
But with which institutions they have contracts and how much they were paid during 2022:
“In the Ministry of Environment, 64 employees of the Serb community are engaged. The budget spent on their salaries during 2022 was 313,899. In the Ministry of Industry, 25 members of this community who have been paid 127 thousand and 298 euros at the Ministry of Internal Affairs are employed by 20 members, who were paid 101 thousand and 474 euros, to the Ministry for Communities and Return 20 members, who were paid 105.266 euros, while in that of the 20 employed culture, 76 thousand 791 during 2022x1.
Finance Minister Iron Murati said institutions alone should regulate labour relations for these employees.
However, according to the National Office of Education, the aforementioned ministries have not yet managed to take concrete measures in the arrangement and engagement of this category of workers.
Kosovo and Serbia in 2015 had signed the agreement, which was aimed at integrating into institutions of members of the organisation “Civil Protection”, which was declared terrorist by Kosovo executive this year.
Kosovo had offered over 480 jobs to these members at the state ministry and agency.
