“Kosovo lost from meeting in Athens”, analyst: Kurt should refuse Mitsotakis and co-ordinate Rama

Analyst Melazim Koci, in an interview for “Balkan Update”, said Kosovo lost its participation in dinner organised by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. That, according to him, was that the Serbian president received the promise of Ukraine and Greece that they would not recognise Kosovo as an independent state. Analyst says Kurt should reject [...]
Analyst says Kurti should refuse dinner because of the recent developments between Athens and Tirana on the matter of Fred Beler. Koci added that Kurti should take a step even co-ordinate with Rama on foreign policy issues to deal with pressures on the two countries.
Kosovo lost to Athens. He lost sight of the fact that Vucic's statement has taken the vow of Mitsotakis and Zelensky that they will not recognise Kosovo either by Mitsotakis or Zelensky. Here Kosovo is lost. There were other issues. There were no state symbols, and this proved that the concession was made to Serbia because of the elimination of Kosovo as state entities was removed from symbols and other states.
Third, there was no Zelensky Kurti meeting, and I think if Kurt had the information that there would be no meeting with Zelenxy, he shouldn't have gone to Athens at all. Its arrival in Athens has only made sense in the context of a meeting with Zelensky. I think Kurti has had to refuse going because of developments in Athens-Tirana and instead of Athens reports to go to Tirana and meet Rama at this very delicate moment because it is obvious that there is pressure on Belgrade and Athens on the Albanian factor. This time we are no longer divided.
There is co-ordinated pressure from Athens and Belgrade on Kosovo and Albania. It is urgent that Mr. Kurti and Rama all forget and sit down and formulate if there are points of common foreign policy. Only then can they cope with pressure coming from Athens and Belgrade. Divided and divided will not be well. I think Rama has taken a step by giving up the open Balkans, remains Mr. Kurti to take a step, ask for a meeting with Rama and ask for it to make clear that there is no return to the open Balkans and to co-ordinate Kosovo and Albania's foreign policy. We would be charged as a factor and would neutralise the incorrect pressures coming from Athens and Belgrade.“, he said. /abcnews. al
