Greek police confirmed in a statement that one person was stabbed to death and eight others were injured during a brutal clash between AEK and Dinamo fans in Nea Philadelphia on the outskirts of Athens late Monday, writes Anadolu Agency.
Police arrested 98 people involved in the night row.
In a statement, Dinamo “sharply condemned” riots in Athens.
First Champions League match between AEK and Dinamo was pushed by U EFA, confirmed the Croatian club.
The second match between them was originally scheduled for 15 August in Zagreb.
Either AEK or Dinamo of Zagreb will face Belgium's Royal Antwerp in the play-off phase of the Champions League.
