The director of the Civil Aviation Authority has been fired today at the Government of Kosovo's decision.
Reasoning for the early conclusion of Ejupi's mandate before the government cabinet has given Deputy Infrastructure Minister Hysen Durmishi.
“Disapprovation of AAC's annual reports by the Parliament of Kosovo, reporting the professional violations of Ejupi on the part of the AAC Board, the much-finding reporting of Iceland's Supervisive Authority on behalf of KFOR, the 20-age report of Austrian experts, as well as a series of other violations, present sufficient grounds for the early end of its <x1 mandate, Durmi noted.
The decision on his dismissal is allegedly in conflict with the Labour Law. Under the Labour Law, the employee cannot be dismissed in the period of medical rest exploitation.

Bujar Ejupi has gone on medical leave since Wednesday 23 August, indicates an official communication with Infrastructure Minister Libun Aliu.
On this e-mail on August 22nd, published by Paparac, Ejupi announces to Minister Ali that he is on medical leave for about a week.
I inform you that because of the medical state, I will be on leave from 2308.2023 to 01.09,2023”, Ejupi, the minister, writes. “Congratulation Musa and Mrs. Nora Bakalli”
It is also reported that Bujar Ejupi is expected to undergo surgery during his stay on medical leave.
Called by Paparac on Wednesday, Ejupi has briefly commented on the government's decision.
“Corruption won”, he has said briefly.
However, the Ejupi dismissal decision has been enjoyed by the AAC Workers Union, even though they have called the decision delayed.
The decision comes three years later with a large number of professional and mismanagemental violations and Bujar Ejupi signaled by our union, which has been sealed by international troops that have proven that under its leadership, AAC has become almost dysfunctional. MPs from the Kosovo Republic two years in succession did not approve the AAC annual reports. This is the third departure from Bujar Ejupi Air Force duty. May Ejupi no longer be able to approach public institutions, nor be allowed to have authority over others, because of his persecution and discrimination actions exercised against AAC officials proven by the ombudsman Institution”, it is said in the Union's reaction following Ejupi's dismissal decision.
