An Albanian killer comes out from his prison cell in the United Kingdom in TikTok, in which he flirts with women and plays online games with criminals in other prisons.
Dailymail writes that Eugert Merizaj, sentenced to 32 years in prison for his role in the brutal murder of a drug-hunting rival, is receiving virtual gifts through TikTok from fans he can exchange for money.
Despite the ban on mobile phones in prison, Maryzaj has been constantly broadcasting five - minute conversations directly each day during the last weeks. In a surprising violation of security, he boasted that his phone was thrown into his prison in Manchester with fear and that he hid it inside a toilet.
Maryzaj, boasted last Monday that if his phone was discovered by prison officers, he would just turn another one. He claimed it is the third phone he uses in prison, each cost him 2,000 pounds.
In a video he appears to have blocked the cell door window with paper to prevent prison officers from looking inside, while in another he has shown 8,000 followers of his security fences outside his cell. Earlier this month, Maryzaj, who uses the nickname "Fatherle," and another prisoner who calls himself Cameron, filmed themselves flirting with a girl who said she was 21.
She's a freak, man. Does she know we're in jail”, it's Cameron.
Merizaj also uses a feature called Live Match in TikTok to communicate with friends outside the prison and also to make small sums of money. Direct matches include TikTok users filming themselves talking to other users for five minutes, in which they often ask online spectators for donations. The winner of a match is the one who gets the most gift from viewers in the form of colorful virtual posters.
Gifts are converted to points that can eventually be bought for money. TikTok, however, gets 50 per cent of the profits. Some known gifts, including roses and football, can be bought for less than a penny, but the stars cost more than 400 pounds. On Wednesday evening, Merizaj participated in a TikTok Live match with three women, including an Albanian in Spain, collecting 66,000 points, equivalent to 12.60 pounds.
