Leposaviqi Mayor Lulzim Hetemi is now confined to the municipality building.
It all started after protests in three Serb-run northern municipalities after Albanian mayors elected were introduced to buildings where they should serve under police escorts.
On that Sunday, the Vetevendosje Movement had held a meeting. It is believed that she was determined that Lulzim Hetemi, the president of Leposaviqi, had to make a great sacrifice - not only to get inside the building but also to get stuck in it.
And that's what happened. Hetem entered the building and is believed to be deputy Salih Zyba, who remained two-three days.
A grave mockery of Lulzim Hetem had made Prime Minister Edi Rama disparagingly compared him to national hero Oso Kuka.
He had mentioned Oso Kuka in dozens of cases, showing what he says is Kosovo's absurd policy that is ruining it with the Western world.
