About 100 workers at the Pristina International Airport “Adem Jashari” addressed the Constitutional Court.
On Thursday, they complained at this institution about layoffs and various court decisions about them.
“have made positive decisions, while with going to the Court of Appeals airport workers have begun to make different decisions on similar occasions. They get positive, they get negative. This too leaves us in doubt that even judges have begun to side with the fitter, the airport. Some judges” said Bahshim Latifi, chairman of the Airport Workers Union.
According to the chairman of the Airport Workers Union, their departure has been made in retaliation for strikes held in 2019.
He has warned the severity of union action if the Constitution does not decide in favour of workers.
We're going to be more radical, we're going to radicalize our actions, because it's about 100 workers at the abandoned airport, the first line of strikes, only because they've participated in strikes”, he said.
Latifi has said the situation of the displaced workers is not good. It has also said that even those working at the airport are facing pressure because of their union actions.
