Former President Sejdiu: DjND's decision 13 years ago was the most historic act supporting our independence

Former Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu has said that the International Court of Justice's ruling 13 years ago was the most important historical act that even legally supports Kosovo independence.

Sejdiu said the DjND decision, which was based on powerful and irreparable arguments, confirmed that Kosovo's declaration of independence does not present violations of international law, nor of Resolution 1244 and the Constitutional Framework.

“This GND decision was also a response to all those games and pressures on Kosovo, with which they wanted to tear down the will of the people of Kosovo to live free and independent”.
