Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi, accompanied by Parliamentary Group chief Abelard Tahiri, are staying for official visit to Paris, France, where they have held several official meetings in the Senate, Parliament and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“In the Senate, I had the honour to wait and discuss with Senator Laure Darcos, responsible for Kosovo in the French Balkan Friendship Group, meanwhile, in Parliament I met deputy Jean-Philippe Ardowin, leader of the French Friendship Group . Senator Darko and MP Ardowin thanked them for their friendship and support towards Kosovo, stressing that Kosovo citizens are grateful for France's support and contribution to all state-building stages. At these meetings, I also expressed my conviction that inter-parliamentary co-operation between our two states should deepen”, Krasniqi said.
Meanwhile, with France's Foreign Affairs Minister's Cabinet, head of Memli Krasniqi's PDK has met with Adrieen Frier, where they discussed recent political developments in Kosovo and PDK positions in relation to them.
“To The PDK, the approach of the Government of Kosovo in relation to our allies is unacceptable, wrong and, as such, endangering our country's security and future. Therefore, today, Kosovo needs a new Government, with a different approach, and which turns our state's path towards Euro-Atlantic integration and pro-Western 911 course, Krasniqi has said.
