The adoption of the legalisation of the medical cannabis is one of the laws that the relindaers have managed to pass with one of the smallest majority of votes in the assembly, but as is rarely receiving the approval of the old Socialists. Fatmir Xhafaj, Pandeli Majko and Erjon Brace, who have repeatedly shown friction with Rama, refused to vote for the project that was voted by 69 deputies Thursday, dawning Friday. Although Health Minister Ogerta Manastirliu proposed that this law aims at “through a licensed process to boost the country's economy, as well as the control of subjects, which will deal with the cultivation and processing of the cannabis plant, the old Socialists disobeyed.

Since the project was passed on to the Xhafaj and Majko law commission, they gave him signs of instability. While Erion Brace stressed that he was concerned about the task force that would flee agriculture, which even currently suffers for employees.

While former Interior Minister Fatmir Xhafaj argued his stance against even in the plenary session. “Over the two years that I headed order, Albania has registered two years with the minimum statistics in cultivation and trafficking, confirmed by Garddia di Italian Finanzia”, said Xhafaj asking: “is Albanian society ready for this bill with major social risks? I think this is the wrong approach. This is a business that kills. It also kills people's trust in work. I think it's an early step for Albania”.

The first Relindas to speak publicly of legalizing the medical cannabis was Rama's former friend, Kocho Headdhima. He launched a campaign to achieve that goal. But then Rama, just like in his fortune games, did the indictee and said he personally opposed that idea.

On the Opinion show, he told Fevziu: “I am against the legalisation of the cannabis and under the rule of this majority, there will be no such legalisation”, he firmly confirmed, considering the position of the former head-headed deputy, as a personal, free opinion he disagreed with.

But a few years later the prime minister played the game as if he were thinking. In a 5-year interview at “Free Zone”, he left open the possibility of legalising him for medical purposes. Asked by Arin Canan for this possibility, he said the government is “in an advanced phase, but not in the final chapter of discussing this issue”. He added: “He (hadashhin-marking of Lacy.al) without permission we will not allow it, we are studying it with permission, that others have done”.

And this study was sealed by “Volunteer” of the people where the prime minister was obeying the majority by reconsidering his mind. In a question at the National Consultation Farson, 61% of Albanians are said to be pro for legalisation (tabelle below).

But although this theatre proved that the plan had been sealed at least since April 2022, the surprising is that now more than a year later the law was passed with accelerated and emergency procedure in commissions and parliament.

And it's not all over here. By chance, the discussion and voting of this law -- which included” 61% of Albanians except for Majko, Xhafaj and Brace -- was discussed and voted after midnight, when most of them were asleep. /Lapsy.al
