Kurti: He once said yes, but he regretted the basic agreement.

The country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, has said that Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has regretted having said yes to the basic agreement reached between Kosovo and Serbia.

According to him, there is already an agreement on normalisation between the two countries, only that it must be implemented now.

We need immediate implementation of the agreement. We have agreements with Serbia, this is Brussels' huge achievement. This agreement is part of the Council of Europe's conclusions that have unanimously made part of the agreement reached”, he has said.

This agreement must be implemented. Today we have no normalisation because we have no implementation of the agreement. Dialogue is only for implementation that we have the agreement. It's my powerful conviction from the meetings I've had that Vuciq has regretted having said yes to the basic agreement, although he said if he didn't sign, and now he's sorry he said yes to 11x1>, he added.

In addition, Kurti has stressed that the essence of the issue is that the agreement for normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia exists, but that the agreement is not being implemented by the latter.
