The Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms has estimated that the beating that took place at the recent session of the Kosovo Parliament was avoidable as if better managed and respected the Kosovo Parliament's work regulation by the director of the session, Glauk Konjufca.
“Besnik Bislim, deputy prime minister of the Kosovo government, as if no ministry is entitled to or has the right to take any action contrary to the Labour Order and their status as guests. They must carry out the work for which MPs have been invited or, if they have requested the right they are entitled to and then return to their home, the Kosovo government. Faithful Bislimi had no right to tear down a photo that the opposition placed, regardless of content. The MPs in the post have had this right, as well as every MP in the Kosovo Assembly. Another offense was when this same deputy prime minister throws water bottles at MP Lushtaku. In this situation, the Speaker of the Parliament, if there had been professionalism and courage, would have removed him from the Besnik Bissim session because, as a guest, he took action contrary to the Parliament's Rule of the Parliament that does not belong to him as if he attacked MP Lushtaku”, said the KMDLNJ response.
It further points out how the worst <x0-second violation made by the Speaker of the Parliament was the call to the Kosovo police to intervene as the session was under way, as according to the KMDLNJ, the Speaker of the Assembly has initially had to call off the session and then call the Kosovo Police to intervene in the calm of the session. / KSP
