The mayor, Sali Berisha, has reacted to the fact that Arben Ahmetaj is not in Albania, which was confirmed yesterday by his lawyers at the Mendata Council meeting. In an appearance for the media, Berisha said Ahmetaj has fled for asylum abroad, at Rama's orders.
“Arben Ahmetaj, deputy prime minister of Edi Rama's government criminal organisation. For the first time in the country's history, the top minister or deputy prime minister, of the Rama-led criminal organisation, escaped.
According to official documents, Arben Ahmetaj escaped several hours before the party prosecution would seek permission for his arrest in parliament. Apparently, the prosecution, or its auditors, announced Ahmetaj before announcing parliament's decision to arrest him.
I add here that not to be excited during the escape, the Special Prosecutor's request had been concealed for three days by the country's parliament.
Yesterday, Arben Ahmetaj showed what is the low moral degree, the lowest standard of members of Edi Rama's criminal organisation, his deputy, his ministers, who after enriching themselves and their circle by stealing tax money and public property, once called to explain, escape without entering the thorn.
Arben Ahmetaj's escape proves that for members of Edi Rama's criminal organisation, responsibility is replaced by theft, and at the end of the career after they have packed their bags with stolen money, escape or be sent to asylum to digest and enjoy their money,” said Berisha.
