Jovic, who lives in northern Mitrovica, stressed that in recent months he has received some “caution, that he can be arrested or killed”.
I am informing the public that more than seriously, from a more serious country, I have received a warning that if I continue any political activity, my security and my people” are directly at risk, Jovic said on his Facebook page, without specifying who has received the threats.
He added that so far, no threat, “or job loss, arrest, suspension, consequences of which may be serious bodily injuries, as well as fatal ones for life”, cannot scare him.
“Anyway, I wouldn't want to take real risks or put the security of my loved ones in real danger, checking if my continued political activities would confirm and understand the seriousness of the warnings”, he said.
Nebojsa Jovic was one of Serbia's closest associates killed politician Oliver Ivanov.
He is opposed to List Srpska and the Serbian president.
As Danas writes, in the June 13th protest, when Milun Milenkovic '%lune was arrested, he cheered “Treason, treason” against Vuciki.
In an interview for the Beta agency on 14 June, Jovic said the Serbian List has lost its credibility and that it cannot represent the Serb people in Kosovo anymore.
“Since 2013 we have suffered threats and blackmail from Belgrade. After all the barricades organised by Belgrade and the Republika Srpska List, and after every meeting of the National Security Council, the situation became increasingly worse for Serbs in Kosovo. All actions made by the Republika Srpska List to allegedly resist Pristina resulted in vain because all directives came from Aleksandar Vuciq”, Jovic said in the interview.
After the first barricades, Kosovo's north was occupied by Kosovo's special police units, after the second were built special police bases, and after the third barricades, the north of Kosovo was completely occupied”, he had claimed.
