She wrote on Twitter that during the day she will also talk to Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.

“I stressed the urgent need for expansion and return to the EU-mediated dialogue for normalising reports with Serbia. I'll talk to President Vuciq” later today, she wrote.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has called on Serbia “to immediately stop the push for violence before there is life loss”.

That call from Kurt has come after Monday was attacked by hand grenades the object of the Northern Mitrovica municipality.

The country's Prime Minister Edi Rama is hosted Tuesday at the European Union headquarters (BE) in Brussels by European Commission President Ursula Von der Leenen.

The “must be clearly understood by both sides even as a major obligation to the entire region, which cannot be taken hostage by anyone”, Rama wrote.
