The director of the Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Petar Petkovovic, said today that the Supreme Court's decision in Kralev to confirm the indictment against three Kosovo police officers and the decision to free them for freedom is a judicial and not political decision.
He has also added that Serbia will fight for all Serbs arrested in Kosovo.
“Here we have a court ruling, whether we are satisfied or not, Serbia is a legal state and there must be respect for the court decisions, unlike Pristina where there is no court, there is no court, there are no prosecutors, but all decisions made by Kurti and Svechla, who arrest Serbs with lists, present existing evidence and everything contrary to the approach prevalent in central Serbia”, Petkov said.
He said Serbia will continue to fight for any Serb arrested in northern Kosovo and stressed that there will be no talks with Kurti's prime minister until all are free.
The problem is that there is no legal state in Pristina, but a madman like Kurti arresting, accusing and keeping people in custody”, Petkovic said.
As he said, special pressure will be put on representatives of the international community, who must do everything for Serbs to be free.
