Minimum wage bill still in the House drawer, veterans against change

Although the minimum wage bill has been passed on to the budget commission, it has not yet been sent to MPs for a second reading vote. This is still not known when it will happen until members of the commission for the budget show that when the minimum wage is up, there will be increases for the emerging categories [...]
A few more days take place than a year since the country first adopted the minimum wage bill.
But since then, despite some attempts to get through the same reading and become almighty, this was not achieved.
Although time has passed, it is still not known when this bill, once again, will be introduced that sparked protests by war - torn organisations.
Kosovo Assembly officials have not returned answers to this topic, but MP Paul Lekaj, from the AAK, says the required changes have been adopted on the budget commission.
That law was passed on to the Board Commission. It is lawful for the assembly to proceed, and the assembly will vote for or against. Therefore, we say that any deviation from the laws and regulation of the assembly is an attack on democracy on the autonomy of MP”, Pal Lekaj has said.
Even from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), they say this bill should be brought to the Assembly as soon as possible and not avoided in that form.
“As long as they've been promoting the minimum wage they haven't done at the level that the sector itself has sought, and now it's blocked by the MPs of power itself, now for several months”, MP Besian Mustafa has clarified.
War - torn organizations say that during this time they have had no communication with any institutions for their demands, but if the same happens as in the past again they will protest.
