The European Parliament has called since we have seen tensions between Kosovo and Serbia for extension. There is no other word that can be used, enlargement must occur. We cannot afford to see more violence at a time when our continent is so vulnerable and the situation is unstable,” said Metsola.
She also added that not only the European Parliament but other European Union institutions have had a clear stance on the issue as well.
She also said that even Croatia can show positive examples by being proactive in calls for despass and calm.
