Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca has said that in the process of European integration, Albania as an experienced, advanced state in this sphere, it can help the state of Kosovo overcome obstacles it has overcome.
“Albania and Kosovo, as two aspiring states for integration into the European Union, but primarily as two states representing the dream of the same nation, should be side by side in the long and difficult process of EU integration”, Konjufca stressed at the joint scientific conference of the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Academy of Sciences of Albania.
Konjufca said the best way to compensate for the time of being divided unjustly is through co-operation in the field of legislation, the creation of permanent troops and exchange of mutual experiences.
The “is in our hands, both state and parliament, to compensate for the long time of being unjustly divided, so that now through legislation we can iron out the social differences that have produced the separate political and judicial order over our nation, especially in Kosovo and other lands outside Albania. In modernity national identity and national culture are cultivated daily by state mechanisms, with the aim of maintaining the homosexuality and social cohesion and identity necessary to our nation's existence and prosperity”, Conjufca concluded.
