Ukraine says it has advanced in combat in Bahmut

A senior commander of Ukraine stated that Ukrainian military forces are showing their ability to succeed under challenging circumstances in the eastern town of Bahmut, where they are fighting to repel Russian forces as Ukrainian President Volodyyr Zelensky secured promises of greater military assistance during his tour of capitals [...]
“Bahmut's defense continues, and recent days have shown Ukraine can move forward and oppose Russian forces there”, said General Olexander Syrskiy on May 15th.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is currently visiting European capitals to seek support and provide new Western supplies to the military.
Zelensky met with German and French leaders, Italian officials and Pope Francisescu over the weekend and arrived in London on May 15th to meet with British Prime Minister Richi Sunak. From there, he will travel to Denmark to speak at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit.
Sunak promised “100th of” air defence missiles and long-range attack fears.
