He assured Ukrainian President Volodyyr Zelenski at a meeting under the G7 summit that the US is doing everything in its power to strengthen Ukraine's defence against Russia. “S along with all G7, we support Ukraine and promise we will not turn our backs on it,” told Biden Zelenski. Russian President Vladimir Putin will not break that resolve.
Training for Ukrainian pilots with F-16 fighter planes
At the Beden meeting, the US's readiness to help Ukraine build its long-term defence against Russian aggression and as well as preventative skills, the presidential office said.
