Thousands of citizens appeared in this protest seeking political change in Serbia.

As Danas reports, the protest was held until after midnight, while calling for protesters to stay on the highway all night.

The decision to let protesters stay on the highway until Serbia's and SNS President Aleksandar Vuciq resign is continuing to pressure the government”, said Faculty of Political Sciences professor Djordje Pavicevic.

As he said, the gathering was impressive and that this participation of people inspires confidence that another policy should be followed in Serbia.

The government must return to the other side and listen to citizens and other parties”.

Attending this protest were high school students who took to the streets with their professors.

Social networking also called for resignation.
