Despite the fact that today everything went well with regard to the chairman's oath in northern Mitrovica, he does not rule out the possibility of any incident during the inauguration of mayors in three other municipalities in the north, in Leposaviq, Zubin Potok of Zvecan. This, according to him, shortly after the oath of chairman in the Northern Mitrovica municipality, reacted to the Serbian List and the so-called director of the Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Petar Petkovic, who claims Kosovo Police have occupied the north.

“They do not view the Kosovo Police as a defence of order and quiet, but accuse them. The inauguration of the mayors in three other municipalities is expected next week. There are warnings and threats of possible destabilisation -- this, with orders from a neighbouring country, Serbia, through Vuciqi and is forwarded through the Serbian List and extremists -- that are under the orders of the Serbian president and apply what is said. Therefore, it does not rule out incidents”, Ibishi told RTK.

He claims the North Mitrovica municipality has been easier, there has been a kind of pilot project, while in three other municipalities this process will be more difficult. However, Ibishi believes that everything will be well and there will be enough strength to maintain order and calm, even though he thinks he will tend to worsen and raise tensions.

“I believe that the oath of the mayors will become one by one and without problems and then there will be easier walking in the inauguration of municipal assemblies. Vuciqi's goal is clear, the destabilisation of the north, the establishment of full association, autonomy and the departure of Kosovo Police from the north”, Ibishi has said in addition.
