It has confirmed this for “Justice Vow”, Krasniqi's protector, lawyer Tome Gashi.
“The complaint has been submitted to the Government Court of Kosovo, actually for the Supreme Court, has to do with protection of your legitimacy and, after all, that the Court of Appeals has actually removed two of the circumstances for which the detention measure is determined and there is only one reason left for which the detention has not ceased, which according to the Court of Appeals this is the eventual option of influence on witnesses. We believe that the prosecution has after all the opportunity to question these witnesses so far because it has actually been but 20 days and besides that witnesses have given the statement to the police, so we have full confidence that the Supreme Court will cease the detention measure, Mr. Nagip Krasniqi”, said lawyer Gashi.
On the other hand, lawyer Gashi said that the appointment of the detention measure should be suspended and it is assigned without any legal basis and that the same could be replaced by a milder measure from the Supreme.
“Masa, in addition to being interrupted because there is no legal basis, for such a drastic measure, Mr. Krasniqi has been questioned earlier on this case, and some circumstances indicate that he has neither the reason nor the need nor the need to be aware of the evidence of witnesses are actually data and that if the Superman thinks otherwise he can replace the measure by another measure, and that it may be for instance that he does not contribute to anything of this, even in such a case, and that he does not have to the most serious crime.
He also said he is waiting as Krasniqi's defence team for the Supreme Party to decide as soon as possible on this requirement.
“Must expect that as soon as possible the Supreme Court will terminate its detention measure because this measure is completely meaningless, illegal and completely unnecessary”, lawyer Gashi said in the end.
