Ahmeti said these are two separate processes.
There is no condition for KiE membership with other processes, be they of dialogue with the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia in Brussels, and this has become clear. So we have to remember that here are two separate processes that belong to two independent organisations against each other, such as the EC is a oldest organization in Europe and the largest. So if membership were to be conditioned, that would mean that the Council of Europe as a human rights, democracy and rule of law organisation would be co-ordinated by another organization and not respect its documents, such as the statute and rules of procedure.”, Ahmeti told RTV21.
