This ministry's decision comes based on power legislation for tobacco, indicating that tobacco products are not allowed to be exposed or visible in any country of sale.
MINT's response to the online newspaper Reporter.net says the same practice is being designed to apply to electronic cigarettes, which are recently being used in large measure.
“Based on legislation in force, tobacco products are not allowed to be placed or visible in any place of sale, except to be visible at the moment of the sales transaction, and should not be displayed for commercial purposes in any other country”, MINT said.
To prevent their exposure. MINT is also conducting inspections.
The Market Inspector's “is conducting inspections for implementation of this law, including actions to prevent exposure of electronic cigarettes”, it is now said.
At stores in Kosovo, electronic cigarettes are usually placed in the cash register, where they can be seen the most. The same experts have considered them harmful.
