Fix the previous defence a little bit, Prime Minister! Cheers.
The country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, today has participated in the second day of the conference “Dhespora Tis”, which was held in Klan Arena, where it has been discussed about how to promote co-creating ways for improving and strengthening reports among successful businessmen from the diaspora with their mother country.
After the conference, Kurti, under the strict protection of his security, climbed the stairs to visit the locations where various businesses were being promoted, which were over 20 of them. He stopped at each but to report to the services those businesses offer, where he later refused to even shake hands and fire “selfee” with their representatives.
When he even got to the point where alcohol was being promoted, he was asked if he wanted to ruin with a glass of raki?
All the time, Kurt seemed available as he talked to the citizens and took pictures of what meant that he had time and at least would make a statement before reporters.
But it was his close defense that prevented journalists from approaching their chief executive at the same time.
Since I couldn't get a promotion from him, when his meeting with business representatives appeared to be over, I took to get out of Clan Arena's building to wait for Kurt, where all the other reporters were waiting for him to be promoted.
But that's where I was stumbled by his immediate defense even after I informed them I was a journalist. Even going down the stairs, one of them pushed me out of the building, I'm not saying that it pushed me down, but it pushed me, even though there was no reason to do this because I was going out of the building, and Prime Minister Kurt was behind me.
Then when I asked gently not to push the stairs, another asked me that “has any problems? I replied to “no, there is no problem at all”. I answered so as not to provoke, when essentially the problem was the behaviour and approach of the prime minister's close defence to a journalist.
Eight days ago, Kosovo journalist Djoci complained that one of Prime Minister Kurti's close defence staff has pushed and thrown all of the journalist's equipment to the ground. According to him, another person from the next defense staff has even said “look right in the eye and we remember”.
This whole thing reminds me before I answer the question “has a problem? It would have been good for the prime minister to learn his own defense that journalists do not follow such events for “caused problems” but, to do their job, therefore, to report and learn if there are solutions to problems facing the people.
Understandably, the next defense is there to provide security to Kurt, but not to intimidate people, in this case journalists, with no cause.
There are many reasons why journalists go to events where Prime Minister Albin Kurti is present, but one thing is certain nobody goes to create problems! At best, they go to find answers from “chief” for the citizens' problems.
“Rise” Little of the immediate defence, prime minister! Cheers. (Hekuran Sokoli/ KlanKosovo)
