The news has confirmed the Kosovo Police spokesman for the Gjakova region, Sheremet Elesaj, who said a 71-year-old lost his life in the accident.
“Around 13:15 p.m. there was traffic accident in the village of Fsaj-Gjakova (The Gjakova-Prizren Street). Also involved in the accident have been a car and a truck where, in addition to material damage, four people have suffered bodily injuries, one of which (the female victim, about 71 years old) has passed”, he said.
Elesaj said further that medical personnel at the Regional Hospital in Gjakova have ascertained her death.
The case is being handled by the Regional Communications Unit.
