US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Havenier said that in the context of the war in Ukraine, “Defender Europe”, the major international military exercise in the Balkan region, “is necessary to highlight”.
Hüvenier at the ceremony to launch this major exercise said that “this is the largest and most ambitious company the KSF has undertaken so far”, reports Express.
The US ambassador said they are impressed with the progress of the Kosovo Army.
“in less than 4 years since the establishment of the KSF, we have been impressed and happy with the progress of the KSF and with numerous gratitude for its professional work”, he said.
Hüvenier said that Kosovo is now being transformed into a security exporter in the region and the world”.
