“E ULEX has raised the level of readiness. The mission's formed police unit and reserve police units are willing to support the Kosovo Police as responsible for the security situation, if required and if necessary in preserving Kosovo's stability and the security of all communities in those areas”, EULEX said.
EULEX reportedly is closely monitoring events in northern Kosovo through the presence of the formed police unit and the reserve police unit, as well as their senior police advisers and other personnel present in the area, and in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and KFOR.
