This is Trump's first visit to the United Kingdom since 2019 after leaving office.
He is expected to take part in a ceremony to open a new course at his resort in Aberdeenshire, Trump International Scotland, reports the BBC, broadcast Klankosova.tv.
Trump, whose mother is from Lewis Island, promoted a security operation on a Scottish visit to 2018 with protests in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen.
The visit comes after Trump faces trial in the United States. Earlier this month he was acquitted of 34 counts of forging business data.
He is also facing a civil trial on one count of rape nearly three decades ago, Klankosova broadcasts.tv.
Trump, who is running for the White House again in 2024, is visiting Scotland as an individual.
Understandably, there is no requirement for Scottish or United Kingdom governments to care for special security.
