Ban Ki-moon enjoys developments in Kosovo, warns visit to region

At the meeting we talked about the role that Mr. Ban Ki-moon had in the process of declaring Independence of the Republic of Kosovo, while the prime minister announced it regarding achievements and developments in Kosovo since then, and especially recently.
He said that in the past two years Kosovo has marked economic development and democratic progress, which has also been recognised and praised by reports of international credit organisations. Furthermore, Prime Minister Kurti has informed former UN Secretary General of Kosovo's EU integration process, the successful transition of the first step towards membership of the Council of Europe, and the process of dialogue between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia.
Former United Nations Secretary General thanked Prime Minister Kurti for his meeting and visit. He said he enjoys positive developments in Kosovo and is interested in visiting the region at a convenient moment to look closely at positive developments. During this meeting, Mr. Ki-moon has also described the circumstances in the UN along the process of declaring the independence of the Republic of Kosovo.
