Krasniqi's lawyer, Virtue Ibrahimaga, told Gazeta Express that they are awaiting a verdict by the Court of Appeals.
“We are waiting for Appeal, it had to make a decision, but it hasn't made a decision yet, the lawyer for the Journal Express said.
Pristina's foundation court has assigned a month's detention to KEK chief chief Nagip Krasniqi, after allegedly committing three criminal acts. Against that decision, his defence has filed complaints at the Court of Appeals.
The Individual Investigation Unit had raided Krasniqi's office in Pristina, two residences in separate locations in Pristina, owned and used by the same one, “aimed at finding evidence dealing with top criminal acts”, the prosecution has announced.
“During the raid, various documents linked to case, electronic devices like three (3) computer, one (1) laptop-top, one (1) cell phone, one (1) The USB, in quality of material evidence that will serve on further procedure”, has announced the prosecution.
Several days later, the KEK Board of Directors made a decision to suspend Nagip Krasniqi from the task of chief executive chief with immediate effect.
