Kosovo Police spokesman for the Mitrovica region Avni Zahiti has confirmed the news.
“Around 18:30, police have admitted the tip that in the village of Akrashtica in Vushtrica, a child aged about 4 has fallen into the Iber-lepenci channel.
Police with its units have been on the scene, as civil emergency teams, firefighters, diving teams for rescue search have been reported. Over the initial allegations in the Iber-lepenc Canal area in the village of Akrashtica have begun researching the child“, Zahit said.
