Today, 24 years are the massacre of Kachanic Stagova.
On May 21, 1999, the martyrs Ekrem Goodaki and Kemal Thaqi and martyrs Hanife Jaha, Selvije Krivanjeva, Baki Bela, Hanfe Gudaki, Ramush Jaha, Ibush Rush, Ramadan Dash, Fahshi Mani, Bahrije Elezi, Sevdije Guri, Hamdi Dashti, Brahim Dash and Fitim Goodaqi have been killed.
May 21, 1999, except for bringing incurable pain to residents, this date will also be remembered for the destructions, burns, and killing of livestock.
Out of 180 homes as many as the village of Stagova has been on May 20th, the next day the Serbian army and police have burned and destroyed over 50 percent of them, or translated into numbers over 90 homes. So these facts clearly speak of the intentions of the Serbian regime of Milosevic, which has been not only physical extinction, but also the material of the Albanian being, defined as the genocide aim of a nation, in this case the Kosovo Albanians. For this day's note, the organising council from the village of Runjevo and Stagova, in collaboration with O VL-KLA and the Kachan municipality organise memorial manifestations in the village of Stagova at 12:00. After the completion of the manifestations, there will be a homazhe at the Memorial Conspiracy of the Witnesses' Graveyards in Kacanic. /Kosovo priss
