The second witness in The Hague: I was present at the funeral when the KLA first appeared publicly

He said there had been messages that war should be launched for independence and that this could not be achieved with pacifist people, who, according to him, this message was understood to have been for the LDK, though that no specific name was mentioned.
Also questioned by prosecutor James Pace, he said the KLA had expanded to the villages of Malisheva in both June and July 1998.
Meanwhile, he first spoke of communiqués issued by the KLA, which he said had them recognised through newspapers like Koha Ditore, '%Bujku' and Albanian television.
