He has written on Twitter Monday that Kosovo family members who have prisoners in Serbia are not being allowed access to detention centres because “Belgrade says they do not recognise Kosovo passports.
Serbia's <x0Institutions are systematically denying access to members of Kosovo's citizens currently held at detention centres in Serbia on the pretext that they do not recognise Kosovo identity cards”, Vela wrote.
This is a violation of Brussels' agreements and basic human rights by the Vuciqi regime”, he has said.
President Osmani's chief adviser has written last week that Serbia is continuing to violate agreements reached, including its failure to prevent Kosovo's membership through international organisations.
