Former Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansha, through a tweet on his social network “Titter”, has reacted following the arrest of Kosovo Energy Corporation director (KEK), Nagip Krasniqi, who is suspected of committing three criminal acts.
Jansha has named the Kosovo Police action and the arrest of KEK's chief executive chief, as a result of the findings made in the case of the financial/energy scandal in Slovenia, where Martin Berisha, Kosovo's ambassador to Croatia, is suspected to be involved.
“Last: The arrests and raids of houses in Kosovo's electric industry, apparently the result of the findings of the Berishaj GENi president [Robert] case investigation. Golob” has written Jansha cuts, labelling Slovenia's government.

Nagip Krasniqi, a member of the Vetevendosje Movement, located at the helm of KEK through ties with the ruling party, has been arrested at the Special Prosecutor's order, under suspicion of collapse with a tender exceeding the value of 3m euros.
Krasniqi prior to this position was head of the Energy Committee in Vetevendosje, while his arrest and two other persons came after raiding the KEK offices Wednesday afternoon under suspicion of criminal acts: “The use of official position or authority, <x1->UUGUE of influence and “Conflict of Interest.
He is suspected of misuse in a 3.4m-euro tender with the company “Litwin SA” and local partner “Buyar B. Shala B. I.”, for performing jobs for the turbine remont and the A5 TC Unit generator “Kosovo A”.
Krasniqi has been sent to the hold for 48 hours. He has been raided by two of his residences, where various documents have been seized in connection with the case, electronic devices such as three computers, a laptop, a mobile phone, a USB, in quality of material evidence that will serve for further procedure.
The Vetevendosje movement has come to power with the promise of fighting corruption, but MPs from this party have criticised this Wednesday's arrest of KEK's chief, after the same man was arrested on suspicion of corruption, Albanypost writes.
