The next Tottenham will be run by Ryan Mason.
Full announcement:
Sunday's “performance against Newcastle was totally unacceptable. It was devastating to see. We can see many reasons why it happened and while I, the Board, the trainers and the players should all take on collective responsibility, in the end my responsibility is mine.
Cristian will leave his current role together with his coach staff. Cristian got into a difficult spot of our season and I want to thank him for the professional way he and his training staff have been brought in during such a challenging time. We wish him and his staff all the best.
Ryan Mason will take on coach duty immediately. Ryan knows the club and the players. We will update further his training staff at the right time.
I've met with the Players' Committee today. The team is set to unite to ensure the strongest possible conclusion of the season. We all know we have to offer performances that earn your amazing support.
COYS, Daniel”
