In this regard, the director of the Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Petar Petkov, has said they have not received an invitation yet.
Petkov said everything depends on the European Union, as they are hosts of all meetings in Brussels.
“Now everything depends on the European Union, they are hosts to all those meetings in Brussels. They send an official invitation, we respond. Of course, it is necessary to agree on all conditions of Lajcak and Borrell, especially when it comes to high level. On the other hand, Vuchy and Kurti. When everything is achieved, I expect a new invitation for a summit to come in the next period. We'll let you know as always, when this happens”, Petkov said in an interview for Serbian Blitz.
She added that the text of the Declaration of Missing Persons will be formally adopted by leaders at the upcoming Summit of High-level Dialogue, as she did not find out when that date will be.
“Kosovo and Serbia's chief negotiators met in Brussels on Tuesday (April 4th) for the first dialogue meeting after the last summit in Ohrid. They discussed numerous issues on the agenda, including implementation of all provisions of the February 27th Agreement and its annex on March 18th, as well as current pressing issues such as energy and targae”, Paloma Hall Caballero said.
“As the first step and in line with Anex, the sides agreed on the text of the Declaration of Missing Persons, which will be formally approved by leaders at the upcoming Summit of High-level Dialogue. We will announce the date of this meeting when necessary”, she added.
Paloma Hall Caballero says the EU expects Kosovo and Serbia to respect all their obligations stemming from the agreement and Anexi reached in Ohrid and to start implementing them without delay, while adding more talks on all issues are needed.
It is clear that more talks are needed on all issues on the agenda to achieve progress, and the parties agreed to meet again soon. The EU expects Kosovo and Serbia to respect all their obligations stemming from the agreement and Anex achieved in Ohrid and to start implementing them without delay”, she said.
“Piles should also avoid any rhetoric and counter-productive/un-constructive actions that have the potential to disrupt implementation and jeopardise stability on the ground”, Hall Cabalero said.
