KEDS and KESCO, with clear missions for reducing air pollution and environmental protection, have begun buying and using electric cars.
These 15-sosh cars are just the beginning of the implementation of the project, which has the focus of conservation and the encouragement of staff to that end.
Such cars consume reasonable electricity and will be available to any of the company's employees during work hours so that they too will be encouraged to use cars as friendly to the environment.
Internal-burning machines release carbon dioxide, and as such are one of the biggest environmental pollutants, so in response, being friendly companies to the ambient in the future, we intend to increase the number of electric cars in a continuous way.
The advantages of having electric cars are many. Besides maintaining the environment, they reduce costs, reduce the noise caused in urban and local areas, help in combating global warming, have easier maintenance, influence a healthier community, and many other advantages.
As we look at technology's advancement every day and more, all signs are clearly seen that will serve as a turning point for electric cars in the coming years, which await extensive adaptation in many parts of the world.
According to statistics, by the year 2021 alone, the total number of electric cars in the world was up to 16.5 million units, while sales of these cars increased the pace and in the first quarter of 2022 were sold 2 million, while during the last year over 10 million cars were expected to be sold worldwide for 2023.
So, KEDS& KESCO with these purchases is on track with time and life-making commitment to environmental protection, being engaged even earlier in environmental projects related to electricity, bringing the information centre for self-productive consumers in 2017, helping and guiding all consumers interested in Kosovo to become self-production of electricity through green technologies, including solar panels and small wind turbines, building new networks or adopting electricity producers exist for clean energy producers and buying green energy produced in the country.
We as companies will be fully committed to preserving the flora, environment, and community, minimizing air pollution in Kosovo.
