The agreement between Belgrade and Pristina on November 23rd 2022 does not have a specific deadline or date, said EU Foreign Affairs spokesman Peter Stano, questioned about the agreement between the two parties for the license plates, which was reported to expire at midnight today.
On 23 November last year, Kosovo and Serbia reached an agreement to end the car license dispute in northern Kosovo.
Stano added that the EU's special representative for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajcak, invited the two sides' top negotiators to a meeting Tuesday in Brussels, where they will discuss the “implementation of the agreement reached in Brussels on 27 February, and Anex for implementation is agreed on March 18th at the meeting in Ohrid”.
“The EU expects, meanwhile, both sides to continue contributing to the atmosphere of normalisation and reconciliation and to the rapid realisation of the obligations taken. Both sides have pledged to refrain from all activities that would run in the opposite direction”. He declared Stano.
