Representatives of the Presevo Valley for the first time at the UN in New York

Representatives of the Presevo Valley have for the first time been hosted in the United Nations Organization of New York, U.S.A.

The news has revealed the executive director of the Albanian-American Civic League, Faton Bislimi, by writing on his Facebook account.

“Today, along with the delegation from Presevo Valley, we were hosted at the UN Assistant Secretary General's Office by James Turpin, Director for Sustainable Peace, with whom we agreed that the issue of ethnic Albanians' rights in the Valley will be addressed in all relevant UN mechanisms! This is a next blow to Belgrade's propaganda after the alive and higher-level meetings we had at the U.S. Congress Senate in Washington, DC”.

We remember that this meeting was carried out as a result of the Bislim letter sent to the UN Secretary General Guterres, the Valley, on October 24, 2022, on the 77th anniversary of the UN, and the support of Albania's Persian Mission to the UN in New York!
