Prime Minister Edi Rama has ironic the opposition today, claiming that during all elections in the past nine years, it has been possible and that in the upcoming local elections, opposition political parties can win Washington as well.
You don't ever want to be removed from the intersections of your imaginary revolutions to seal my departure, but I'll be on my side. In this perpetual dance of your swords, a nation's abomination, where I have not desired it, nor understood it, I have turned myself into parts thereof.
You're okay. You've been in the 10th year of the road where you've knocked me down several times every year, dragged me back every two years, forced me to escape a year yes and a year no, you've gathered 100 thousand to 200 thousand people on the Avenue 120 times, forced me to hide on Dajti Mountain 60 times and another 60 times I don't even know where to hide, and to tell them all as you could in all the last nine years' elections and I'm aware that this 10th year will be your greatest election year of this decade's executional, 148200...
“In the investigation is only McGonial”, Rama justified in Parliament
Prime Minister Edi Rama is justified today in Parliament that the indictment of former FBI agent Charles McGonigal is nothing more than a correct report of American official meetings in Tirana.
In the speech given during the debate's motion, Rama said the indictment is only said that the person A received a material from the prime minister's office on the issue of funding the Russian-financed PD, but added that the only person to be investigated on the issue is McGonigal.
Edi Rama: For weeks a sewer has broken out in an effort to politically exploit a US court process that has nothing to do with Albania, the government and me personally. What specifically happened? A former senior official The FBI, former U.S. intelligence chief in New York, is accused of illegal co-operation with Russian oligarch Deripaska. During the investigation, prosecutors have also filed a series of violations related to McGonigal's trips, where the indictment marks that he has visited Albania and has met with me. Akt the prosecution highlights that he borrowed money from person A. The line of the indictment also mentions the American investigation of Russian PD money, which notes that person A received a material from my office in the case. The indictment also speaks of a person B foreign adviser to me a few years ago. There is no one charged except McGonigal.
Despite a long investigation I've only found out about when I've been asked by an American Insive journalist, there's no charge in all the lines of prosecution and no other record but correct reporting of my meetings with the senior American official, or the fact that he's spoken to me about the Russian danger.
